Here's an update on the overall weight numbers:
Dec. 2012: 275-280 (I didn't weigh before I started going down this path in December, so I don't have an exact starting point, but based on the 274 when I first weighed on 1/7, it's very safe to say that I was in the 275-280 range at my heaviest point in December. I'm using an estimate of 277.5 as my start weight for overall loss.)
2/1: 265.0 (-9, -12.5)
3/1: 256.0 (-9, -21.5)
4/1: 243.0 (-13, -34.5)
5/1: 229.7 (-13.3, -47.8)
6/1: 217.5 (-12.2, -60.0)
7/1: 203.5 (-14.0, -74.0)

I am having surgery on 9/6 to repair the aforementioned hernia, so my goals will be drastically different this month. I plan to focus heavily on nutrition and recovery, so the things I'd like to measure this month will reflect that.
In checking my long-term goals, it appears that for now none need to change. I'll run a different Half Marathon than originally planned, but at this point it is unclear what sort of speed goal I need to have due to the surgery. Based on my recent times, I probably would have been shooting for a time of 1:45 or less by October 20th, but I have no idea how quickly I'll be able to get back to the paces I'm doing now.
